GoZomi offers you 10 different categories of rental ads which you can select during ad posting or reposting. It is not possible to switch between different ad types while it is live. Available types are:

  6. Cars
  7. Bike
  8. Cycle
  9. Tools & Equipment
  10. Single Product

How Does It Work?

In order to list or buy a rental product you need to register an account. Once you have an account you can list or rent a rental item

Take a snap of your product. Post your first ad with reasonable price and type of the rental product. Make sure you be as descriptive as possible if you’ve won it you will receive confirmation mail.

Now sit back, enjoy and wait for your first phone call or message and start earning money.

How To Promote Submitted Ad?

In order to promote your ads first you must navigate to your submitted ads and from the action menu select last option. It will open modal with list of all available promotions on market as well as your currently active promotions for the particular ad.

List of available promotions are:

  1. Bump Up Ad ( this will update creation date while expire time remains and can be used only once per ad )
  2. Highlight Ad ( this will make your ad stand out in listing )
  3. Top Ad ( make your ad among the best positions of listing as well as in it’s regular listing position )
  4. Urgent Ad ( display urgent ribbon on ad box )

With an exception of Bump Up promotion all of them can have multiple packages available.

Once you have selected promotion type and period you can proceed to payment screen. Once the payment is cleared your promotion will be active. Promotion starts from the time when payment is cleared and not from time the promotion is requested.

What Submitting Packs Do You Offer?

Depending on the settings of the marketplace we have different packages:

  • Packages ( in the packages time for submitting ads and number of ad is final )
  • Check GoZomi Home page.

How Can I Contact Seller?

In order to retrieve phone number of the seller go to it’s profile page or any of his ads and you will notice block with phone number.

If you wish to start messaging conversation with the seller first create an account. Once you have created your account navigate to any of his ads and you will notice button for sending message. There you have AJAX messaging system where you will be able to continue conversations.

How Review System Works?

We follow rating type of review system. First step is to register on our marketplace. You can rate stars to any product that you have experienced.

When users visit your profile they will be able to see your overall reviews.

Once you post review it can not be changed.

What Are Featured Ads?

If you have found some ad which you want to visit later or contact seller later, etc. you can mark it as Favorite and it will be save to the list of your favorite ads which you can access from your profile dashboard.

How To Report Ad?

If you feel that the ad  is breaking some rules, you can report it directly from ad page by clicking on the Report button and writing detail reason. Ad will remain active until administrator checks it out.

How do I check whether or not a Seller/ Renter are trustworthy?

Before you accept or purchase any rental item, you can use our chat function to know and understand each other and on confirmation of rent payment, seller allows the renter to fix a meeting and inspect the rental item. On satisfaction with the quality of the rental product and extra agreements by the seller if any, renter approves the rental product. Once a product is approved by the renter, booking cannot be cancelled and the amount remains in hold in Escrow which is delivered to the seller’s account after completion of the rental period.

And if the renter is not satisfied with the quality of the rental product or unsatisfied by any other means, renter can cancel his/her bookings and apply for refund.

A payment notification and documents submitted by the renter while booking the order are sent to the seller’s email

Seller must verify the photocopy/ documents submitted while booking the rental product with the original documents of the renter.

This way both the seller and the renter can minimized their risk and decide if they’d like to proceed in dealing further.

What currencies does the website support?

Transaction for Indian listings are priced in ₹ ( INR ), and transactions for all other listings are priced in $ ( USD ) and € ( EUR ).

What is ESCROW?

With escrow, renter pre-fund for their rental product and release funds to the seller as the rental periods are completed – knowing that they’ll be able to cancel and approve the deal. Escrow also gives sellers the comfort of knowing that the rent amount is funded before they proceed further on deal.

Do I need to pay extra commissions to agents for renting any rental product at GoZomi website?

No, you don’t have to pay extra commission for renting at GoZomi. GoZomi don’t appoint any agents.

What are rental duration?

GoZomi offers three different types of rental duration; one day, a week and a month. One calendar day is the minimum rental duration but deal/rent duration can be extended.  

Do a rental product Owner/ Renter; have to maintain good relations and quality of the rental product.

Yes, everyone expects good behavior and respect. People do love to use good quality rental products and poor ratings might slow down your bookings.

Is it necessary to upload good clear HD picture of rental products?

Yes, sometimes appearance and presentation make a lot of sense. It is recommended to upload HD image for your rental product with proper location and background. This will help you to attract renters and increase your bookings/ reservations.

Is there any restriction for uploading rental items?

GoZomi strictly prohibitive in use, display, uploads and post of any means of alcohol, tobacco, any narcotics, drugs, living things/animals, animal by products, wildlife products, low quality defective rental goods/items/equipments or spaces with poor facility and improper environment, medicines, medical equipments, personal or military as well as government security and defense leading equipments, credit cards, currency, gift cards, fireworks, misconduct/ rent of government documents and properties, IDs, Licenses, uniforms, human parts, stolen products/items/properties, travel tickets, membership tickets, club or any entertainment tickets, coupons, pronography, racial, vulgar, obscene, defamatory, libelous, abusive, hatred, discrimination or prejudice based on religion, cultural, threatening, harassing, offensive, human naked images and nudity, sexual orientation, including violation of right of any third party such as copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other personal or proprietary rights or any other content/ activities which are considered as unlawful in the user’s (applicable) country or internationally. You are not authorised to upload files that contain malicious software, virus or programs, corrupted files, any similar software, which may damage the operation of the website or another computer, any software or other materials protected by rights of privacy/ publicity of others. You are also restricted to use or gain unauthorised access to data, account, host, scan or test the vulnerability of system, collect/ copy any information or content of the website, attempt to interface with the service or service of other user. mail bombing, flooding and attempting to deliberately overload the system or networks of GoZomi.

Do I have to inspect the rental item before renting and making approval?

Yes, you have the opportunity to personally inspect the rental goods, objects, item, space for safety and defectiveness and upon full satisfaction, find it suitable for your needs. You should understand and read information regarding legal, lawful, and proper use of the rental goods/ objects, items or spaces and return it to the seller when rent period is over and or when you agree discontinue using it.

How can I cancel rental product which I have booked and get refunded?

Yes, if the renter is not satisfied with the quality of the rental product or unsatisfied by any other means, renter can cancel his/her bookings and apply for refund. But once the product is approved by the renter it is considered as the rental product is tested and all necessary inspections are done by the renter. It is also considered that the renter is fully satisfied with the quality and condition of the rental product. Hence, no cancellation of the rental product can be possible after approval is done by the renter.

What if the rental Item get damaged after using?

As we all know in our daily life when any goods are used in regular basis after a certain period of time, it never remains the same as it was while buying. Even if it is used with lots of care still it never remain as brand new and some minor damages or wear and tear takes place. Therefore, while using any rental item minor wear and tear may take place. Such minor wear and tear shall not make any damage claim to the renter.

However, in case of damages which are not minor, products will go further inspection to ascertain damage cost. This damage cost will then be charged by the seller to the renter and renter will pay the amount immediately without any delay.

How long will it take to deliver the rental product to my delivery address?

We are working on delivery system and will be available soon. Presently, GoZomi do not provide any shipping facilities nor liable to provide any such services. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for delivering as well as returning your item. Renter and Seller mutually agree to bear all the expenses related to shipping and delivery.

Who will pick up the rental product after the rental period is over?

We are working on pick up system and will be available soon. Presently, GoZomi do not provide any shipping facilities nor liable to provide any such services. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for delivering as well as returning your item. Renter and Seller mutually agree to bear all the expenses related to the shipping and delivery.

What will happen if I delay in returning the product?

If the renter fails to return the rental product to the owner of the rental product in agreed time, an additional amount of ₹200 per day will be charged to the renter. The renter is responsible to pay the amount to the seller within 30 days from the end date of rent period without any delay failing which may be considered as harassing the rental product owner and violating the terms and conditions of service and necessary disciplinary action may be taken under government laws against the renter.

Can I install camera in the rent house or room?

No camera/ hidden camera is allowed to installed inside the rent house/ room, bed room, guest room, bath room or any other area which may be uncomfortable to the renter and may violate the privacy of the renter/buyer/guest. Renter should immediately inform to the GoZomi via e mail if found any such things/ activities around them.

However, camera can be installed at outside of the rent house at main entrance door, balcony or any other places which can be a help for the security purposes without affecting privacy of the renters/ other members of the rent house.

Do I have to maintain any schedule or any rules in the rent house/room.

Yes, renter should maintain the schedule or rules and restrictions as requested and agreed  and requested by the Owner of the rent house/ room. Apart from this, renter/guest will not break or damage any household goods or do any unlawful, illegal activities in the rented house/ room or within the compound of the rent house/ room. Renters/ guest are not allowed to drink alcoholic liquor, any narcotics or any activity that can be harassment to the owner of the rent house/ room. Renter should not smoke inside the house/ room, unless and until they receive a written permission from the owner of the rent house/ room. Renters/ guest are not allowed to walk naked/ nude, dress that may be offensive to the other members, also they are not allowed to do any abusive activity inside or within the boundary of the ren house/ room. Wearing of any improper dress (too short or any dress which are transparent and visible to actual skin and private body parts) which may be harassing or abusive to others are strictly prohibitive.

You should never create any scene, do unlawful activity or make any fraudulent claims of damages of rental items that may harm either of the renter/ seller’s dignity and respect or degrade the dignity of GoZomi.

Is there any insurance for rental Items?

This is very important to us as well. Since we are newly born startup we are not able to provide insurance and more other services as we planned. But constantly we are working on such issues and soon we will come up with good solution and make available of more services and facilities.
